Starting Up Penryn Town Council gains local approval to write a Neighbourhood Plan. Awareness of the Neighbourhood Plan is raised with the community and other stakeholders (eg. landowners). Initial community questionnaire is distributed to begin to define key aims for the Neighbourhood Plan. Formal application to Cornwall Council to write a Neighbourhood Plan and secure Council support. Steering Committee set up. Developing the Plan Public launch of the Neighbourhood Plan. Ongoing community engagement to identify important local issues and aims. Gather and review existing information about Penryn and collect new information to build the evidence base for the plan. Set up working groups around topics identified. In-depth consultation and outreach to explore themes, issues and aims. Define aims for the Plan based on consultation to date and feed back to community.
